Corporate Social Responsibility

As a value-oriented company we are devoted to corporate social responsibility.

We donate both money and time for the benefit of society.

Proactive Management Consulting is committed to sustainable business consulting

We are excited to announce a groundbreaking educational project under the Erasmus+ program: “ESG Business Model Innovation – Enabling Business Leaders and Consultants to Facilitate Business Model Innovation in View of ESG Requirements by Means of Capacity Building.”

In collaboration with international partners, we are developing a comprehensive training package that equips business leaders and consultants with the skills to actively integrate ESG principles (Environmental, Social, Governance) into business strategies. This is not just about reporting but about real, sustainable transformation.

Why this project matters:

  • ESG requirements are becoming an essential part of corporate management in Europe.
  • Companies benefit in the long run from sustainable business models that are both environmentally and economically future-proof.
  • Through practical training materials – including a handbook, webinars, podcasts, and interactive learning formats – business consultants and executives receive concrete tools to integrate ESG into business models.

With strong partners from Germany, Austria, and the Netherlands, and Hungary, we are fostering a Europe-wide transfer of knowledge to drive sustainable innovation. We firmly believe this project will make a significant contribution to preparing businesses for a sustainable future!

This project is co-funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ program (KA210-VET – Small-scale partnerships in vocational education and training).

Good Deeds Day

We are proud to have set up and joined the Good Deeds Day initiative for the second time, since its launch in 2025, through Dr. Tibor Héjj the Hungarian representative of Good Deeds Day and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Maholnap Foundation. Through his commitment and the Foundation’s work, we are joining a global movement that encourages people to make a positive impact through simple acts of kindness and community engagement.

Together with individuals, schools, NGOs, businesses, and local communities, the initiative promotes the inspiring message: Think good. Speak good. Do good. Every act of kindness, no matter how small, contributes to building stronger, more connected, and more compassionate communities.

“How wonderful it is to feel that I am not in this world just for myself, but that I can give to others—even if I have no money, even if I live with a disability, or whether I am young or old. I believe this is an experience that as many people as possible should have the opportunity to discover, enjoy, and embrace.”

Donations

As part of our ongoing commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), we are proud to continue our tradition of giving back. This year, we once again made a charitable donation to support meaningful causes and contribute to a stronger, more caring community. We believe that responsible business goes beyond delivering great products and services—it also means making a positive impact where it matters most.

This year we supported the Új Város Foundation in Hungary, a public benefit organization established to advance the mission of the Focolare Movement through community development, solidarity, education, and social initiatives. https://ujvarosonline.hu/uj-varos-alapitvany

Further, we made a donation to the Kentoledo Social Service Club in Kenya, supporting its work to improve the lives of vulnerable children, young people, women, and families through education, community development, and social empowerment. https://kentoledosocialserviceclub.org/en/

Sunflower PLC

The most relevant and sustainable of such support was and is the foundation and ongoing volunteer support of Sunflower Nonprofit and Public Benefit Private Limited Company (PLC) (Napra Forgó Nonprofit Közhasznú Zrt.). The company was set up in 2000, by Dr. Tibor Héjj who served as the non-executive Chairman of the Board until he sold the company through an MBO to the Managing Director, after 22 years. The mission of the company is to provide jobs for the PWDs (Persons With Disabilities) both within the company as well as supporting their (re)integration into the labour market, currently employing 120+ disadvantaged persons.

Out of the 17 SDGs (defined by the United Nations in 2015) this company fulfills 6 goals, as follows:

Besides job opportunities, from 2020 the company started to provide social housing, too, especially for those who otherwise could not be employed by the company, thus being in need (bigger families, employees from other geographical areas, low-income households, homeless).

The company received different awards, out of them the most important were the “Socially Responsible Company of the Year” (2007) given by the Schwab Foundation (Founder of the World Economic Forum) and the “Business Ethics Award” in 2019.

353. Chernel István Scout Group

As part of our commitment to community development and youth empowerment, Balázs Héjj led an initiative to re-establish a local Scout group, restoring a vital social and educational foundation for young people in the area. Following its revival, he served as the Scout group leader, directing youth leadership programs, organizing outdoor activities, and training future leaders to build resilience, teamwork, and core personal values. This hands-on involvement reflects our core corporate belief in driving sustainable positive change through active local engagement.

Having led the troop as troop leader for three years, Balázs recently passed on the leadership mantle to his successor. He continues to support the organization's growth and continuity in a mentorship role, guiding the new leadership team.
